Abstract Submission Rules - Guidelines

1. General Information

  • Abstracts must be submitted online only via the congress abstract submission system.

  • Abstracts sent by email or post will not be accepted.

  • The presenting author is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the submitted abstract.

  • Submission implies consent for publication in the congress abstract book and on the congress website.

2. Important Dates

  • Abstract submission deadline: 23.03.2026

3. Abstract Categories

Authors are required to select one relevant scientific topic/category during submission.
Abstracts submitted under an inappropriate category may be reassigned by the Scientific Committee.

4. Abstract Format – Structure

Abstracts must be written in English and structured as follows:

  • Title (Sentence case, no abbreviations)

  • Authors (First name, Last name)

  • Affiliations (Department, Institution, City, Country)

  • Background 

  • Methods 

  • Results 

  • Conclusion 

5. Word – Character Limits

  • Maximum word count: 300 words

  • Title: Maximum 20 words

  • Keywords: 3–5 keywords (mandatory)

Abstracts exceeding the word limit will not be reviewed.

6. Language & Style

  • Use clear scientific English.

  • Avoid undefined abbreviations.

  • Use generic names for drugs (no trade names).

  • Do not include references, tables, figures, or images.

7. Ethics – Conflict of Interest

  • All studies involving human subjects or animals must comply with ethical standards.

  • Authors must confirm that ethical approval was obtained where applicable.

  • Any conflict of interest and/or financial support must be declared during submission.

8. Originality Policy

  • Submitted abstracts must represent original work.

  • Abstracts that have been previously published or presented at another international congress are not eligible.

  • Plagiarism will result in automatic rejection.

9. Review – Acceptance

  • All abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee through a peer-review process.

  • Accepted abstracts will be assigned to:

    • Oral Presentation (Panel), or

    • Poster Presentation

  • The Scientific Committee reserves the right to change the presentation type.

10. Registration Requirement

  • At least one author of each accepted abstract must register for the congress.

  • Abstracts without completed registration will not be included in the final program or abstract book.

11. Certificate – Publication

  • Accepted and presented abstracts will be published in the The EuroBiotech Journal.

  • Presentation certificates will be issued only to registered and presenting authors.

12. Technical Notes

  • The abstract submission system does not allow editing after final submission.

  • Please carefully review your abstract before submission.

Digital Poster (E-Poster) Submission Guidelines

1. General Information

  • Accepted poster presentations will be displayed digitally on electronic screens during the congress.

  • Printed posters are NOT required.

  • All posters must be submitted online via the congress poster upload system within the specified deadline.

  • Posters sent by email or other methods will not be accepted.

2. File Format – Technical Specifications

Authors must prepare their digital posters according to the following technical requirements:

  • File format: PDF (mandatory)

  • Orientation: Portrait (Vertical)

  • Screen ratio: 9:16

  • Recommended resolution: 1080 Ă— 1920 pixels

  • Maximum file size: 10 MB

  • File name format:
    LastName.pdf
    (Example: Yildirim.pdf)

3. Poster Content Structure

Digital posters should include the following sections:

  • Title

  • Authors and Affiliations

  • Introduction / Background

  • Methods

  • Results

  • Conclusion

  • Keywords (optional)

Acknowledgements / Funding (if applicable)

4. Design – Readability Guidelines

  • Prefer high contrast between text and background.

  • Avoid overcrowding slides with excessive text.

  • Use clear figures, charts, and images with appropriate labels.

  • Do not include animations, audio, or video files.

5. Language

  • All posters must be prepared in English.

  • Use clear and concise scientific language.

  • Avoid unexplained abbreviations.

6. Submission Deadline

  • Digital poster upload deadline: 23.03.2026

  • Posters uploaded after the deadline will not be displayed.

7. Presentation During the Congress

  • Posters will be displayed on designated digital poster screens according to the scientific program.

  • Authors are expected to be present during their assigned poster discussion time.

8. Editing – Finalization

  • Once uploaded, posters cannot be edited or replaced.

  • Authors are strongly advised to carefully check their files before final submission.

9. Certificate – Publication

  • Poster presentation certificates will be issued only to registered presenting authors.

  • Digital posters will be included in the official congress records.
